Grace Lauther is a mezzo-soprano from Naples, Florida.

This 2025-2026 season, Grace returned to her native Southwest Florida with multiple house debuts throughout the state. Grace appeared as an Emerging Artist with Gulfshore Opera, covering the role of Mercédès and performing as Manuelita/Ensemble in Carmen, on top of appearing as one of five Featured Artists in GO’s Professional Artist Workshop. Grace made her debut at Vero Beach Opera as the Page in Rigoletto and covering Lola in Cavalleria rusticana. Grace also made her house debut collaborating with Opera Naples’ Resident Artists in their educational outreach tour to play the title role in John Davies’ Jack and the Beanstalk. On the concert stage, Grace has recently collaborated with Naples Philharmonic singing in the chorus for Mahler's Symphony No. 2 under the baton of Alexander Shelley. Grace made her house and role debut with Salt Marsh Opera as Tisbe in La Cenerentola. She will be returning to the same company this fall as the Third Wood Nymph in Dvorak’s Rusalka. Grace will close off her season joining the LAH-SOW Philadelphia Workshop singing Hänsel in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel.

In May 2025, Grace graduated with her Masters in Voice Performance and Literature from Eastman School of Music. With Eastman, she performed the roles of Madame de Croissy in Dialogues des Carmélites, Federico García Lorca in Osvaldo Golijov's Ainadamar with Eastman Opera Theatre, Alto Soloist (cover) in Edward Elgar’s The Music Makers, Op. 69, and appeared as a featured artist in a masterclass led by Barbara Hannigan. She received her Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance from Stetson University.

Past season highlights include Der Komponist in Ariadne auf Naxos, the title role in Dido and Aeneas, Cherubino and Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro, Lapák/Owl in Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen, Zita in Gianni Schicchi, Cinderella’s Stepmother in Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods, and Emma Jones (cover) in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene.

Past summer programs include Dramatic Voices Program Berlin, Songfest (Young Artist) at Pomona College in Claremont, CA, FIO-Italia in Urbania, Italy, Keystone Opera in York, PA, and Opera Naples’ Summer Youth Program.

When Grace is not singing, she likes running, hiking, graphic design, nature photography, and creative writing.
